Questions About Your First Visit

  • What can I expect during my first visit to Wood Creek?

A patient’s very first visit at Wood Creek will look a little different from the rest of their visits. For starters, we will need you to bring a valid ID and insurance card to your first dental office visit if you are insured. If you are using a different payment method or have any questions about financing your care, our team will be happy to assist. The first visit is also about getting to know patients and building a rapport with them. We will want to get to know you, your family, and your smile goals, and the first office visit is the perfect opportunity for that!

  • When should I schedule a dental office visit?

We recommend patients visit our office for routine cleanings and exams at least twice per year, and we see patients who are four years old and older. Routine preventive care is important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Should you suspect that something is wrong with your smile, please let us know, and we will assess the situation and determine if an additional visit is needed. If a dental emergency occurs in your household, like a severe toothache or dislodged tooth, our team accepts emergency appointments, and we recommend calling our office right away.

  • Does Wood Creek accept insurance?

We accept many major dental insurance providers and are happy to file your insurance claim and assist you in maximizing your dental benefits. Since most plans are intended to assist with the cost of treatment and seldom offer full coverage, we will gladly estimate your expected payment. For more information, please visit patient finances.

  • How can I pay?

In addition to accepting cash, check or Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, we also offer an online payment portal. A 5% courtesy discount for payment in full (by cash or check only) at the start of treatment will be offered for procedures over $1,000. For more information, please visit patient finances.
